The location was so tranquil, quiet and relaxing. We had come from Nai Harn which was quite busy so we found this hotel was a proper Thai hotel with beautiful outdoor space which was vast. We were delayed from Nai Harn so only got 2 nights here instead of 3 which was a shame. We stayed in the honeymoon suite with a private pool even though we were not on honeymoon and it was beautiful. I loved all the dark wood and the pool got the sun. The air con was very good as well. We went to the restaurant every night and the buffet food and the mains the following night was excellent. I loved the setting of the restaurant and the traditional Thai style of the restaurant. Whilst the sea is too dangerous to swim in you can paddle and the walk along the beach is beautiful and you have the pools at the hotel. The breakfast had a huge choice and again the setting of the breakfast room was lovely and the food excellent and healthy. The various pools were really nice and warm and the vast grounds and palm trees were just pleasant to go for a walk. I saw the reviews about the pool area getting busy but in November when we went it was only for 2 hours that I saw it got a bit busy. The reception area and hotel building with the wood, marble and tradition style and ornaments was beautiful and I really felt I was in Thailand. My husband and son both loved the hotel. My son had a very young baby and came with his wife and found the hotel very relaxing. They had a garden room which was really nice. All the staff were really helpful and the manager Thom was always checking that his guests were nice which I found a really nice touch.

Very good hot buffet breakfast. Local Thai cuisine as well as garden salad, fruit, pastry and bread, quality coffee. Friendly staff. The Manager takes a personal interest in the guest experience and the flow of operations. I went for the hydrothermal therapy of the hot spring water. The geothermally warmed mineral water is pumped into large circular pools for guests. And Wow. The cold water plunge pool can really set the magic in motion. There is also a large lagoon ambient temperature swimming pool and fountain. Aquatic delight at all temperature ranges - personally I had success getting a frozen shoulder to start to process of opening up. The Massage Therapy staff was helpful in this process. Massage was individually customized. Very impressed with the diligent efforts of the Massage staff to assist with muscle issues, There are lots of different rooms and suites at the property along the walking paths and bridge to beach takes you to the ocean front. The beach is remote. Pristine. Undeveloped. Its s a nice change from the "party" beach scene. Sunset as amazing as any pyrotechnic. The property is graced with gardens and tropical plants and beauty. There is an homage to beauty of natural materials in the architecture. This is not modern concrete, glass, and chrome. It is wood, and clay tile and an honor to more traditional Thai architecture. These material age well. All properties settle into themselves with age. This is not a newly built property but because of the careful selection of quality it has aged well. Hot Springs resort provides you with the tranquil setting to a great retreat

We like coming to this hotel, the staff is always attentive, it is very green and beautiful. Today we met Jib at the reception, we have known her for many years, it’s so nice that the staff has been working in this hotel for many years and greets us like old acquaintances! Today, the hotel owner herself helped resolve our issue with leaving for the airport; it was very touching. We also met the general manager, he was very nice and we had a great chat. The water in the pool warms up very well, it is just the perfect temperature, especially after swimming pools with hot mineral water. I would like to immediately tell everyone that the hot “baths” are drained and cleaned every day, and also filled with new mineral water, so that in the morning everything is clean and ready to receive guests! For breakfast there is everything you need, we have become accustomed to the location for many years. It gives you the opportunity to feel like you are on vacation, especially considering the huge and well-groomed territory.

In general it was a nice resort. 2 restaurants available but with same kitchen. The beach within a few minutes walk (no big deal). The resort was a bit isolated but that’s what we were looking for. It’s a good getaway to enjoy the beach or hang around the pool area and just glaube peace for a few days. Breakfast was a bit busy but we were expecting this already (previous reviews), so we can confirm it. However, not too bad either. The stuff was generally nice and friendly but seemed a bit overworked. During daytime the pool area is much busier because of outside day guests. People complained before that it’s noisy by the pool but we didn’t feel that way. It’s a pool area where families play in the water during daytime. At night time it was very quiet. We stayed in 2 different rooms. The first nights a little bit further away from the main complex. The last night in a room straight by the pool. The first room was but disappointing to us. Didn’t have much of a charm. The second room by the pool was amazing though.

The food was amazing. We had dinners at the hotel every night as the quality was outstanding. Everything we tried tasted fantastic. The staff were all friendly, smiled at us every time they walked past us. The location itself is perfect if you like being surrounded by nature. However, it is in the middle of nowhere so if you like exploring around you'll need a car. The rooms we stayed in are spacious with loads of natural light, although signs of wear and tear started to show (eg. missing safe and some mould).
